I am working on increasing my freelance writing income and I've noticed an area that a lot of people are neglecting. I'm doing this for 3 other clients so I wanted to open this up to you guys as well as ask a question.
First, do you accept guest posts? If you do, please let me know. I'm going to add you to my list and then I'll email you to get specifics on what your particular requirements are (or link to the page that has it listed if you have that up already). I have three clients already looking for their sites to be promoted through guest posts.
If you are interested in having guest posts written for your site. I'm here to help. I can write anywhere from 1 – 5 (or more) posts a month for your site to be spread out within the community. I also have A LOT of Mom blogs that I am in contact with if you want to branch out to that niche). I will find the sites, pitch them and do the leg work there as well as comment on the post when it goes up. I have reasonable rates and will work with you on a list of topics that you want guest posts to be as well as specific linkbacks that you want to use and more. Please get in touch with me if you are interested.
Thanks

I do accept guest post. For the most part, my "guidelines" are posted here: http://www.beatingbroke.com/wr…..te-for-us/
I'm pretty easy to get along with though, so feel free to pitch something that's outside of those guidelines.

I'm always interested in guest posts, both from Edward Antrobus and If You Can Read, You Can Cook. I think Mom blogs and a blog for beginning cooks could have a lot of overlap.
I don't have guest post guidelines up because, well, I don't exactly have guest posters banging down my door. Yet. :) When I do get inquiries, I generally state that I'm looking for posts 400-800 words in length with a 3-4 sentence bio with no more than 2 links at the top. Plus a relevant photo.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

DebtPrincess I'm in! I'd be interested… Do you think the Moms are into Dividends and Investing? If so there might be a great opp for me to expand to their target audience as well, we could work this both ways. And they are welcome to use the Ninja to help them out (guest posts and other ideas). Drop me a message if ur interested!
Cheers
Glencap, Always open to hight quality posts on the Dividend Ninja. Just send me a PM or contact me.

I may be confused but if I am not I think this is a shitty thing to do. If I am accepting a guest post from a blogger (which I do often and LIKE doing it to hook people up) I want it to be THEIR voice not their staff writer's voice. Just my feelings.
Again, I may be confused if you are doing it for your own site please feel free to email me.

I think that depends entirely on how it's presented. If I were to get an email that was seemingly from you and ask me to host a guest post from you, I would expect it to be written by you. If, however, I were to get an email from your staff writer, asking me to host a guest post written by your staff writer, but with links to your site, I don't see the problem. As long as it's transparent, what's the difference? Also, the question of voice is a bit weak, I think. If a blogger has a staff writer who writes regularly, isn't their voice just as much a part of the voice of the blog as the voice of the owner of the blog?

I think that is certainly in your right to do as a blog owner. There are different sites that have different goals. My own personal site, it is about my voice. I wouldn't want someone to write a guest post for me to go elsewhere but that is because my site is all about my story.
However, if you have an educational site that users multiple writers for articles then having someone else write your guest posts isn't that different. Guest posting has multiple purposes: 1. To drive traffic to your blog. 2. To increase the number of sites linking back to your site.
If your goal is also to share a unique voice, then you'll want to write that type of guest post yourself.
Does that make sense?

Yes, your explanation sounds a bit better than mine.
