Do you have a business card for blogging?

I had some free cards made a while ago, but I want to get some really nice ones for the Financial Blog Conference.  My only problem seems to be how to make it look, what info to include, and where I can go to get nice ones made.  You know, all of it, lol.  Right now, I am looking at Vistaprint again but the "premium" types.

Do any of you have a blogging business card?  If so, would you mind emailing me an example or letting me know what info you included?  So far I have my blog name, it's URL, my name, "Blogger / Freelancer for Blogging Services", my email, and phone.  Am I missing anything or should I use a different title?

Any suggestions other than Vistaprint?

Thank you in advance for all of your help.Laugh

I have some cards.  I've got my site name, tagline, url, email, facebook and twitter.

Never, ever order from vistaprint without searching google for coupon codes.  I don't pay anything but shipping/handling, ever.  I have 250 premium, flat cards that I paid $6 for, shipped.

If you want to look elsewhere, here's a comparison of a few companies: http://zacjohnson.com/best-business-cards-online-face-off/

LOL.  How did I forget to Google for coupon codes?  Laugh  Vistaprint will work great if I could get my darn Gravatar image to have a high enough resolution.  Anyone know how to make a 125x125, 100 pixel image have a high enough resolution to look good on a Vistaprint card?

I used Moo to make a 2-sided mini card.  I have my logo on one side and my info (site, name, email, po box) on the other side.

Moo makes a nice quality card, but a little expensive.  I also used a groupon-like site for a discount.

I started to make cards with Vistaprint then found their shipping/handling to be expensive.  I think that's where they make up their money for all the free cards they give out.  Just a hunch.

No doubt about it.  But when you quit considering it to be the shipping cost and start thinking of it as the total cost, it's cheap.   After my first order, I started getting weekly emails from them with offers for free product.  When I need to make an order, I start by searching my commercial email folder(I filter a lot) for the latest offer.   250 premium cards for $6 shipped isn't expensive.

@ Jason – What did your first offer cost, if I may ask?

When I was looking at VistaPrint the shipping/handling was definitely NOT $6.  Not saying there aren't deals or that it's a bad company.  But I didn't expect the overall price after everything was taken into consideration to be as much as it was.

My first order(2007) was for 250 free cards, with a small premium to take their ad line off of the back.   It ran $9.24 shipped.

My most recent order was for 250 premium cards(no text on the back, matte finish), using one of the regular deals and cost $5.67.

The shipping can be entirely out of line with the items.  I almost never order anything that isn't free + shipping, so the price stays good.

Right now, using the top coupon at retailmenot, you can get 250 cards shipped for $8.66, with no ad on the back.

This is timely! I just contacted the woman who did my site redesign and asked her to design cards for me to take to conference. :) I plan on ordering locally. My husband got 1,000 cards for $50, and supported a local business, so I'm going that way.

Thank you all!  I will either use that Retailmenot coupon at Vistaprint or find a local place to help me design and print them up!

I got a hookup from UPrinting.com and love my cards. I have my picture (cartoon version) with my contact info on the front and blog URLs on the back. I would make sure to include Twitter (I keep kicking myself for forgetting to add it).

I had to do a little photo editing with Picnik to get it to work well and fit the card area, but the UPrinting support was great as well.

VistaPrint is the bomb.  I got 250 for free a while back and pass them out all the time.  I refuse to pay for cards!  Free ones do the job.

Thanks everybody!  My boss at my day job actually volunteered to turn my gravatar image into a Correl Draw (sp?) vector image so it will look great on a Vistaprint premium card!  Yes, my supervisor is pretty awesome, lol.  I'll actually do a post with a picture about it when they are done and update this thread.  :-)  Thanks again!

This is completely new to me….blogging business cards. It is a smart idea. It seems like there people that are pro Vistaprint and some that are not so hot on the service.
