It seems like since I've gotten below 100k the 'sites linking in' part of my Alexa ranking has been updating more frequently.
Do they update more once you get below a certain ranking?

You may be right, my latest update took only a week. the previous one took more than a month. Need to watch out now

I've heard that once you are below 100k, it updates more frequently, and is more accurate with the other stats as well.

I'm still in the mid 200's and I just noticed my inbound links updated in the last couple days for the first time since joining (at the end of July) From reading the FAQs and looking at some of the metrics, it seems that once you enter the top 100k everything gets activated and they pay closer attention.

I'm sure the sub 100k alexa ranking leads to more accurate figures; but I'm thinking this was an update for everybody. I'm hovering over 400k and noticed my first "sites linking in" change.

I don't really know how it works, but I am under 100K and it absolutely changes daily

I find it updates a few times per year…not very often at all. I think it just updated this last month because I noticed a huge jump in my linking in sites. You may have to wait for a bit now for another update.

I am sub-100k, my rank and other thing changes daily. I can see those pretty graphs too, but I know the site links doesn't change frequently for me. It changes once in a while and it did jump quite a bit recently.

My links don't change often at all – I usually hover right around the 100K mark.

My links jumped twice in the last few weeks. My rank is in the 140k range. Not sure what caused the jump in links though.
