Does anyone know of a good affiliate network for a blog about investing and personal finance?

I have commission junction and flexoffers. Both of them are good to me. People say cj as better is they are the first layer (direct relationship with the end client), flexoffers get their links from cj or other first layer vendors. But I like flexoffers better (just based on my personal experience) because
1) They approved me for almost all the programs, whereas cj rejected me for all the big names – chase, citi, amex, scottrade, optionhouse…
2) Flexoffers assigns you a affiliate manager, a person you can talk to and bounce ideas off of. You can take this as an advantage and a disadvantage :) My AM emails me/talks to me every week. He is concerned about my performance more than me. Of course, my performance is tied to his I guess, so he has to improve mine… But he seem to think I can make a full time living with flexoffers and he is frustrated I am not putting the effort :)
I have tried almost all the affiliate networks out there I think. So if you have any specific questions, drop me an email.

I am on CJ for the Lending Club affiliate program, but they changed the terms so it is not as good as it used to be.

How big does your blog have to be before something like this is worthwhile?
I recently hit the 200k alexa mark, mozRank 4.55, 10,000 pageviews last month and Page Rank of 0. I slapped some Adsense up as a place holder, but I'm wondering if I'm hitting the point where it's worth it to look into a better monetization strategy.

I have recently started working with another Finance affiliate network called Consumertrack. They don't accept each and every website, but no harm in trying.
They don't have a ton of offers, but they have a select few that are CPA as well as some good PPC (Pay Per Click).
Some pay per click offers pay as much as $3 per click.
If anyone is interested, please send me an email at tusharm@gmail.com
I can get you in touch with my account rep.

For CPC Quinstreet is another option. Consumertrack is good too, but as Tushar said they have only 1 or 2 CPC offers. Quinstreet has wider offers. I use them both, why pick :)
No Debt MBA, The alexa, mozrank or PR doesn't really matter for the CPA or CPL (cost per action or lead). And I don't know at what point of time affiliate marketing makes more sense. But if you put relevant ads and/or if you write reviews that are relevant to your niche and include link in there, it does well.
Feel free to email me, I can email you the list of companies that are relevant to your niche (that I can find in cj or FO). You can see if joining is worth it based on whether you will be able to market them.

I have changed my opinion of Flexoffers. It has started paying out a couple hundred a month for my site.

How do people optimize affiliate advertising? I'd be highly interested in a how-to on doing so.

I prefer Flexoffers. I had a rep call me earlier this year to help me build up my aff income and setup. I'm not making a fortune from it, but I've earned a couple grand this year just from placing a few aff links around my blog. I really appreciated the help.

I have found that almost writing my own sponsored post for the affiliate link works really well. I can usually get a few conversions. Also, if you have good affiliates that match a post, put the affiliate link instead of an AdSense box.

CJ and Flexoffers are also the ones that work best for me although I do belong to some others. There is no harm in joining several affiliate networks although there will be some overlap.
As The College Investor said writing about an affiliate product in a post is the best way to get conversions. I rarely get any conversions from ads in the sidebar.

Hey Guys!
We're starting our own internal affiliate network @ DebtEye. We just recently launched and have received tons of positive press about our product!
I'd like to include anyone in the Yakezie network to join our affiliate program. I believe our commission structure is extremely aggressive (compared to a similar site called DebtGoal).
Anyone who writes about Personal Finance/Debt should be a good fit for our affiliate program.
If anyone is interested in learning more about our structure, please shoot me an email! We're looking to get everything set up in the next few weeks.
