The last 3-4 days I have seen a slide in my visitor numbers.  Nothing horrible, but I'm back to where I was a couple of weeks ago (not long after I started RootofGood).  I guess traffic comes and goes, and we never know why for sure.  

What, people don't want to read what I'm writing any more? :)  Maybe the weather was nice and no one is surfing on the internet these last few days.

I was feeling kind of bad, then I realized my Alexa Traffic Rank loves me.  Slowly sliding from 2.4 million when I installed it ~1.5 weeks ago, down to 817,000.  Voila!  Everything is now ok once again.

I would highly recommend not looking at traffic daily. Check in every couple of weeks for monthly trends, but looking at swings like that generally isn't helpful unless you notice a big spike in referrals from one source.

I guess I need to turn off the Google Analytics window, huh?  It's so cool to watch visitors in real time, but seeing traffic get cut in half one day to the next is ugly!
