I like the theme, very clean and easy to read.  I would add something to encourage social sharing, probably within each post.  Two good Wordpress plugins (I assume you are using WP) are Share and Follow and Digg Digg.

You also might want to consider what it is that you want visitors to do once on your site.  Subscribe?  Comment?  Something else?  Once you have that in mind you can make changes to encourage that behavior.

Overall though I like the site and can see great potential.

Oh and for grammar you may want to look into http://www.grammarly.com/, although I didn't see much wrong with yours anyway.  Unless the reader is a journalist/editor or a teacher of English I don't think they would notice any small errors.  Most people read at the 7th grade level anyway :)

Theme looks clean and nice. You just need to add feedburner plugin so that readers can subscribe. Steve has mentioned some good plugins as well.

I added feedburner buttons to my sidebar so hopefully that will help with subscriptions. Once I get my logo designed I will start opening and being active on all the social media platforms.

Are there any plugins that automatically place text in your posts in the header and footer? For social media plugins, disclaimers, and whatever else people put. I would not be apposed to inserting them manually, I just know I would forget.
