The last couple of days have been fun. Saturday was the 8 week anniversary for my blog and on Sunday it dropped to 197957. 
Then yesterday the traffic shot through the roof with people visiting my post about Tiny Houses. Over 300 unique visitors in one day, and more coming today. Doin the happy dance.

The Alexa was just a matter of time but doing it in 8 weeks is extremely impressive. I'd be more excited about the traffic numbers though. Are those organic searches or did somebody link to the article?

Hey I noticed mine too once I got below the 200k on monday that my traffic has just been through the roof. I am nearly double of what I usually was. I certainly dont mind one bit!!

Awesome job and congrats. I was blogging for over a month before I found Yakesie, but I hope that after 8 weeks of being a yakesie challenger mine will skyrocket like that. Keep up the good work and Tiny Houses was awesome!
