Sorry for the short notice, but I literally just received the login info a few minutes ago. BFS is hosting the Festival of Frugality this Tuesday, 10/26.
If you haven't already and would like to be included, feel free to submit your entries here by tomorrow (Monday) night 7-8pm CST: http://blogcarnival.com/bc/sub…..10213.html
Has anyone else had such a hard time getting the info for this? I signed up 3 weeks ago and was confirmed. Then this week we sent a few emails and finally just contacted the last host to get the proper login name and password.

FOF was very last minute for me too. Literally like one day to pull it all together. Not fun. That's why I haven't hosted again, but it's always nice to get some back links.

Alrighty then. This will be my first and last time to host FoF. Carnival of Personal Finance was on the ball and I'm hoping Carnival of Money Stories will be as well. There are too many other fish in the sea to be this irresponsible and expect people to volunteer twice.

CoMS is very on the ball. They redirect the emails to you as soon as the last carnival closes. I'm hosting next week and started getting submissions yesterday.

I didn't get the login info until the night before the carnival was supposed to go live. I was freaking out, that was my first carnival hosting and I wasn't sure if I was missing something obvious. Luckily the previous host responded with the login, I got the articles Monday night and had to get the carnival up by Tuesday morning. Have not hosted anything else since. Good to know the CoPF and CoMS are not like that. I will sign up to host them.
(To be fair, the FoF owner was on vacation at that time, but still I would have liked the information on time. It was stressful)
