Very much excited to meet all of you. Bringing my tennis racquets if anyone wants to get some early morning tennis in (I've already challenged Financial Samurai to a match-ahhh!). Also added my info to the spreadsheet, hopefully someone wants to split a room! I already splurged on the conference ticket . See you in Denver!!

I don't think I'll make it, which is a real bummer since Colorado is absolutely beautiful at that time of year!

Got my ticket and room reservations this morning – I'm flying out on Wednesday and leaving on Monday morning. I can't wait to see everyone again, and to meet the ones who weren't there last year!

Registration is open. :)
Hotel is $99/night. Looks like the room rate is good for a few days before and after. I'm going to fly in on the 5th and fly back out on the 9th.
Tickets with the "I filled out the fincon11 survey" coupon are $111.
Doh, I got my ticket already but didn't get a coupon. (And I did fill out the survey…) Oh well, I'm sure it will still be more than worth it!

I really hope to make it. I need to double my revenue as of now though to be able to justify the expense :(

Hopefully I'll remember this is a FINANCIAL BLOGGER Con & not show up dressed like a Klingon! AWKWARD!
No promises, though…

We actually had a Klingon last year. He came onstage during JD Roth's presentation. Was kind of awesome!

Bought my ticket and booked the flight with a free voucher I got for volunteering to take a different flight last year. Thank you American Airlines for the free flight to FinCon12!

I'll be booking my flight with miles I got for opening and immediately canceling a Bank of America card last year. I would have kept it, but they wouldn't give me 15000 of the promised bonus miles.

FMV – your car should be fine, it's a pretty nice area, though you'll probably have to pay for parking
Crystal – your best bet for a flight most likely will be on Southwest – there's a credit card that will give you enough points (sw branded, offered by chase) to make the RT if you're interested.

I live in Longmont CO, so I'm probably interested in driving down. I didn't see any signup details on the website, but it looks like people are already getting hotels etc. Is there some other source of info I should be looking at?

We just booked our hotel rooms as well. We are staying from Wednesday to Monday!
Hopefully, that will give us a little time to network and have some fun. Last year we felt a little rushed on the last day.

Just signed up. Judging by the number of people already signed up it looks like there will be a lot more attendees this year.

Got my ticket yesterday! I'm not worrying about Airfare until much later but I have an alert set up with Kayak. I have another plane ticket to buy for a June trip first.
I filled out the spreadsheet. I'll need a roomie(s) as well.
I still haven't decided if I'm coming in Wed eve. or Thur. am and if I'm leaving Sun eve or Mon am. All up in the air at the moment.

I've already got it on my calendar in marker, lol. I will be sticking around the hotel most likely since I could visit Denver for hiking some other time but can only see tons of my fellow bloggers in one place for that weekend.
I feel the same way … sightseeing will always be there, but seeing PF bloggers only happens once a year. (Awww.)

There are hotel shuttles every 15 minutes. I think it's $22 one way.
The RTD bus goes from the airport to downtown Denver every 30-ish minutes, and it's cheap (somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 -ish each way).

Thanks for looking out for me. I loved Southwest when I lived on that side of town. Now I splurge and spend $30-$50 more on average to fly out of IAH since Hobby is an hour away or more but IAH is 20 minutes in traffic. I live on the north side of Houston. And I will admit it right now…I did not wait after all to buy my airfare. I worried myself that flights would fill up and I'd have to drive 18 hours, so I just bought my ticket for $275. Yeah, I suck.

Also booked my ticket although I wouldn't call myself 100% in just yet since my wife and I have our first kid coming in July, I guess if all goes well, I will be there:)
