I got my flight yesterday for less than $200, on sale from SF to Chicago on Priceline in case anyone is looking for the same route. It's been hovering at $350 all along so this was a great bargain on the cost of the flight!

Guys, when have you booked the tickets? I mean what dates? Should I book for reaching on Friday morning and leaving Sunday night? Anyone coming early? Or staying late?

What are your travel dates?

Suba, I got an e-mail from Priceline about a sale with American Airlines.

I'm coming in on Thursday and plan on heading out Sunday afternoon. I'll spend a couple of days in Chicago after the conference on my own with non-conference friends. It's a mini-vacation for me. :)

For those not familiar with the slumber party idea, it's typically an overnight party for preteen girls. The girls stay up late and do each others' nails and makeup, talk about boys, listen to cheesy teen-bop music (and sing dramatically into their hair brushes), and eat junk food. Did I miss anything, ladies?

I'm 90% sure I'm driving, so I'll get there around noon on Friday and leave before sunset on Sunday.  :)

That's great, because I already told my wife that we have to talk to you while we're there! I'll let you know when it's official.

It looks like we are going to arrive on Thursday evening and leave on Sunday evening. If it's cheaper, we may just come in on Friday morning.

Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately we'll be in PA visiting my family. It's my Mom's 50th birthday, and we are throwing her a surprise birthday bash–she doesn't even know that Paul and I are flying home for it! Have a great time, and we'll have to find another time to get together:).

I met you in person Crystal–you didn't look pregnant! You were fine, but I am quite curious with how you look now that you've lost so much weight!

Thank you for being sweet!  Well, we are having another board gaming potluck on July 16th – you are more than welcome!

Have fun in PA!  We'll get together again I'm sure!

I'm landing at 11:20 am Friday morning (should be at the hotel by noonish) and leaving at 6pm Sunday evening (catching a taxi at 3:30pm to be on the safe side).  My ticket was $247 roundtrip from Houston to O'Hare on Continental.

I'm flying in Friday arriving about 2:30 pm and leave Sunday at 3 pm via O'Hare.  I used miles so got my ticket in March.

Booked my tickets too. We are coming in Thursday (took an extra day to see Chicago :) ) and leaving Sunday night. Got my tickets Los Angeles to O'Hare for $180 (United) and booked with miles for my husband. Only my ticket will be tax deductible, so I decided not to buy mine with miles… Only rental car/transportation to work out. Everything done! Yay!!

I hope that everyone going to the conference will come back home and blog all about it – for those of us who aren't going to get there this year!

It would be neat if there was a way to tie all the posts on the topic together to make searching easier tooLaugh

Which speakers are you most interested in seeing? I'm especially interested in hearing Pat Flynn, Donna Freedman, Baker, and Flexo.

I was chatting with Suba, who is bringing her husband to take notes in different lectures so she gets to experience as much as possible. Good tactic! We'll have to swap notes. :)

I'll be blogging about what I learned, and I'm sure there will be a string of others writing about what they learned. A round up of all those posts could be fantastic.

I think I'm going to drive up on Thursday but I haven't decided for sure. I'll be leaving immediately after lunch on Sunday – will have to work the next day! :(

I'll be arriving in Chicago about 12:00 on Friday and leaving at about 3 on Sunday.  Had a difficult enough time getting Friday off, I didn't think it wise to try and get any other days off.  It'll be a ton of fun though!  Can't wait to meet everyone!
