I'm opening up Free Money Finance to guest posts for a brief period, so if you're interested in getting some exposure for your blog, read on.
Here are the details:
For the next couple of weeks I'll be accepting guest post submissions. You can email them to me at fmf [at] freemoneyfinance [dot] com.
The pieces should reflect your BEST writing efforts. Remember, my readers will be reading what you write and deciding whether or not to visit your site as a result. You want them to be impressed, right?
To see what works on FMF, you can do two things. First of all, here's a list of my best guest posts from last year: http://www.freemoneyfinance.co…..-2010.html Do what these writers did and you'll be fine. Second, read my site and see what seems to work for my readers. To note, my readers are rather sophisticated, so "Money 101" pieces won't really work.
You will get a link to your homepage at the top of the guest post. The anchor text will be your site's name (no keywords). It will go like this: "The following is a guest post from Sam at Money Blog (link)". I put it first thing so readers know who is writing it and can easily visit the site if they want.
I will not accept every article. Just want to say that upfront. Based on past experience, I'll probably get a ton of submissions, so you're competing with several others for a slot. Another reason to write your best stuff.
The post needs to be original and not published anywhere else. After I publish it, I want one month before you publish it elsewhere, but after that time you can do what you like with it.
I will not help on editing, coming up with an idea, etc. If you want to run an idea by me in advance, that's fine, just drop me a note.
I will respond via email if your piece is or is not accepted. If accepted, I will give you an exact day and time that your piece will run.
I'm reserving the right to shut this offer off at any time, so the early bird may get the worm. :-)
If you have any questions at all, email them to me. I won't be checking this post for responses/questions.
