Fun New Project, what do you think? | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

Hey Guys,  For the past 6 months I’ve been working very hard on a fun side project for my website.   It’s been a lot of work, but a ton of fun turning my idea into a reality.   And I really want to give many thanks to both Jesse’s (PF Firewall & FinEngr) for their assistance and feedback throughout this process. 

So what the heck have I been doing?  Well, I’ve inserted my brain into the computer and completely automated the Car Negotiation Coach!!!  After helping a few people buy cars last summer I realized that depending on how people answered my questions, I had a specific recommendation for every answer they gave me.  It became formulaic and I decided it could be put into a database.  Basically, I ask a few multiple choice questions and automatically create a personalized “car buying plan” with specific advice tailored to the individual.   It’s all web-based and you can view and bookmark your custom-made car buying strategy guide without having to register.

I’m pretty excited with the end result and now I want to start doing two things: 

1-      Get feedback on the app and make changes to make it as cool as possible; and

2-      Spread the word and try to make it viral.  Which brings me to the reason for this post…
