Hey everyone!
I currently use Google Groups for a mastermind group I've started and I'm not quite happy with it. The formatting isn't as clearly defined as a forum (the responses don't flow as nicely, there isn't a quote function or other formatting tools that I like that I'm aware of).
Does anyone use anything else? How does one go about setting up a forum on their blog?

I tried starting a forum on my blog but it has gotten little activity. I am not quite sure how to get the momentum going. For applications, try using simple press. It is easy to set up.

Yakezie uses simplepress it is really simple to install & customize. And as you have seen easy to use for the users as well.

I tried the same thing with The Single Saver when I started it, Miss T, and it fizzled so I eventually dropped it. It wasn't worth the hassle of monitoring it for such low traffic. Maybe someday I will try again. However, when I started The Single Saver and added the forum I did so hoping to have a sense of 'community' with the site… but I have found a similar sense of community within Yakezie so I am happy.

Hey, I just stumbled across this topic. Make sure you try out the new Google Groups at https://groups.google.com/forum/ before you decide. It has more of a forum vibe. And let me know what you think of it. :)
