I also stayed a 3 despite my Alexa skyrocketing. Doesn't seem like many Google changes since last update…but I'm sure we'll see a few big shakeups in 2013.

My alexa dropped by nearly a third in the last thirty days I stayed a 3 too. Perhaps they want a longer period of time of better stats.

This is why I used Alexa when I first started the Yakezie Challenge. It updates in real time and is much more fun and motivating. After a certain level, perhaps 50,000 or so, the correlation between traffic and Alexa ranking breaks. However, it's the best the web has right now measuring progress.
PR is fun and all, but it updates way too irregularly to be motivating.

Matt Cutts from Google mentioned an impending Panda update on Fri, March 16 or by next Monday and a significant Penguin update sometime this year at SXSW fyi. Good luck everyone. Going to offer up some sacrifices to the Google Gods now.
