I am furiously working to complete my next book; 20 Minute Guide for New College Graduates, in time for Spring graduation.

I would like to include a section from other bloggers entitled; PERSONAL FINANCE TIPS FROM WELL RESPECTED BLOGGERS

This section would include a brief suggestion/personal finance TIP for a new college grad. Short personal anecdotes are GREAT.

I will include a link to your site and the tip, so please write the recommendation as you would like it to appear in the book.

Thanks in advance, Barb

I'd love to contribute! Graduating from college in 2008, I think I could provide some good insight! When do you need this by?

Details please.  :-)  I'll send over what I consider to be a short anecdote right now but I'll revise it if I guessed incorrectly.

DETAILS:

The main book topics include:

Saving-SHORT, MEDIUM, AND LONG TERM

Debt (Obviously paying of and/or staying out of)

Protection (this is a fairly short section on renters insurance)

Spending

Investing

The book is a very quick read, meant to focus on just the most important personal finance topics for new college grads.

A tip would be something you did when you were in your 20's and inexperienced in PF. Could be a mistake and how you overcame or learned from it or some sort of advice.

2-4 sentences with one link to your site!

LaTisha and BFS, thank you. I'm waiting about a week or two before I start reviewing.

Deadline: March 10.

Thanks in advance. Don't hesitate to ask further questions.

Hello Barb!

Great idea–young people need help with their finances from the beginning to save a lot of heartache. I will definitely send something over.

Thanks!
