Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this discussion.  Is there a way I can get a moderator to give me permission to edit my first post?  I'd like to put links to everyone's google+ profile on the first post.  Then, once somebody adds everyone on the list, I can put their name on the list and we can all return the favor.  We can grow our followings and hopefully improve in Google's eyes from an SEO perspective.

I added you back. By the way, my search traffic has grown by a TON in the past few weeks. I doubt that's totally attributable to increasing my Google+ activity, but I definitely think it's helped. Thanks Michael for starting this thread.

Thanks to everyone for adding me!  I think I am caught up with all the new people to this thread. 

Matt, I too have noticed an increase in traffic.  I think google really likes those who google plus.

I added everyone who included a link.  I've been crazy busy, but I've started to +1 good articles on content creation, SEO, etc., so if you add me, you'll be able to see those.  It's something that's helpful for others that doesn't take me any time.
