Great read!  Were you ready for some of the criticisms? The GRS crowd can get pretty rowdy.

Yes Dr. I was prepared for it! I saw what happened to Joe's (RB40) post couple of week's earlier. Mine was not that harshly treated.

Actually what people do there is no different than what we see on Reddit. They just try to outsmart each others with comment. "my thinking is best'ism" is displayed.

One of my past post in on Reddit personal finance front page for last 24 hrs. I am receiving much damaging comments there. 100% negative Frown

For GRS I am fully satisfied with the performance, visitors and subscribers. I encourage others to guest post at GRS.

Congrats on the post feature. I think it was a very well thought out article that gives people an amazing view into the world you grew up in and how frugal financial values were instilled. It's funny that a lot of the comments seem to read into your every word WAYY too much. Makes for a good conversation, though :)

All the best Suba!

@Chris Your comment "your family at yakezie supports you!" is the best one-liner I have seen on Yakezie forum that describes what yakezie is. Thanks!

A well-written story, SB. Interesting to see that your Dad's wealth grew from an investment in a plot of land.

Demand supply situation. Land is way more costly there than the actual house.
