After patiently waiting 3 months, my guest post finally went live today on GRS. Appreciate any Social Love that y'all might have.

This is my 2nd post on his site (first one bombed big time). I'll report back with some traffic numbers after a few days has passed. Thus far it's been pretty cool.

Nice work Jeff! I submitted a guest post to GRS on April 22nd of this year, but JD said he was pretty backlogged with requests and said he was actually recently hiring a staff writer to handle getting the guest posts to go live.

Thanks everybody. Isn't crazy to think that a site is back-logged over 90 days to allow a guest post? As of now, I have about 2 weeks of content in the queue, but can't imagine 3 months.

What's really helped me is 2 things:
1. I've hired two writers to be regular contributors. Miranda contributes 3-4 posts per month and Laura is now contributing 2 posts per month. I use them to research and write posts that sometimes I just don't have time, too.
2. Video. I can crank out video posts with little effort. Editing takes some time, but; for the most part are a lot easier for me. Now if I can just generate some more traffic from YouTube….

Okay, I figure after two days of my guest post being live, I should have some decent metrics to share.
For the last two days, GRS has referred a total of 539 people to my site. Average page views is 4.26. Average time on site is 2:39. 91.47% were new visits.
23 additional people popped over to my Soldier of Finance site, too.
It was weird that that was such a low number in comparison. I'm assuming that many people came over from the links within the post vs. the introductory byline?
Adsense was good – first $40 day in a while (ever since I got whacked by Panda).
I'm not a big feedburner guy so I don't even track that anymore. I'm more interested in building my email lists right now.
I had 32 new subs to my GFC list and 6 to SOF yesterday. Today I had 10 and 8 respectively (average for GFC, higher than average for SOF)
Overall, I can't complain for a nice bump in traffic when my site desperately needed it.
