Hi all,

I've added a new guest posting page to my site: http://www.thefamilyceoblog.co…..t-posting/.

If you're looking for places to guest post and feel your post idea would be a good fit for The Family CEO, I encourage you to submit a post. I'd love to showcase you.

Julie

Great idea Julie. I'll be sure to submit one once my crazy life settles down (ie. when I finish the house….). :)

Hi Julie,

I had emailed you with a guest post back on Sept. 27th and never heard anything back about whether or not it was accepted. Would you like me to submit the guest post through this new medium on your site?

Julie,

I think this is a great addition to your site. It motivated me to create my own guest posting page. It was something that I have been meaning to do for some time now.

Like Derek, I can't commit to anything right now. In January, I should be able to start doing more writing for other people.

One (of the many mistakes) I made during the first 6 months of blogging was that I didn't do any guest posts on other sites.

I now realize that if I had placed some high quality guest posts on other sites during those first 6 months (maybe 2 per month), it would have helped me much more than simply posting consistently on my own site.

Thanks for the advice, Jacob. I started out well and did 6 in my first month. Now, I have been focusing on other things (site re-design, carnivals, social networks) and staff writing. But, this is a helpful gentle nudge. Maybe I should work on a few more guest posts.

As always, thanks!
