Everyone else, if you'd like to share an interesting strategy you've used to buy something big please drop me a line. I'd like to run a couple guest posts before Christmas with buying tips for an expensive item (whatever item you feel like talking about).

Could be anything….big screen TV, monthly utlity bills, day-care, a new bike, whatever.  Another thought is something related to getting deals on expensive items on Black Friday …
