I am writing a series of posts on living on minimum wage (how can people survive and how to get ahead). I can research all I can but personally I have never lived a true minimum wage life (I worked minimum wage in college but that doesn't really compare with people who work for minimum wage taking care of families). If you have lived on minimum wage, I want to talk to you and link to you.
1) If you could share some of your experiences, tips and/or answer a few short questions (all with due credit of course), I would be very thankful. You can post a response here, I will contact you with my questions (I promise it won't take more than a few minutes) or you can drop me an email wealth.informatics@gmail.com
2) If you have written about your experiences in your blog, please let me know that too, I will link to your post if it fits the subject.
Thanks a lot!

Suba,
You might want to check out an online game called Spent (http://playspent.org) which simulates living in minimum wage.
Also, my brother used to work for minimum wage at a factory. If you want, I can forward the questions to him and get the answers back to you.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I haven't lived on minimum wage, but I lived on below-the-poverty-line level income for 4 years. That isn't the same thing, mainly because I had a huge starting-point advantage, but if I can help feel free to email me.

I grew up below the poverty line, but didn't realize it until I was an adult.
