I added Adsense about 7 months ago and just hit $100 this week. Based on the info here, I added a block under the post title for posts 7 days old or greater.

I am starting to finally appreciate Adsense! I am getting about 70 dollars a month. Not great money, but a lot better than where it was even 6 months ago.
Almost all of my adsense revenue comes from search engine traffic. Increase your search engine traffic, and your adsense payout might increase along with it!
Heh, me too! I agree with this — my SE traffic has been to pick up significantly within the past couple of months, and with it the Adsense as well.

i keep up adsense ads on my niche content websites, but only on pages that do not market affiliate products or my own. i made a decision early not to display these on my blog. user experience is valuable to me at this point -

How many pages views were you all getting before you started making adsense money?
Where's My Trust Fund?

According to my reports, I started getting more routine clicks at around 50+ pageviews per day. But technically, you only need 1 page view to make money in a day if that person clicks an ad. I think it's safe to say that you'll need a few hundred views per day to actually make payout in a given month.

I think the key question is not to get rid of Adsense or not but by which ad you will replace it?
It took me almost 3 years to understand the Adsense game… I was not making much with it and decided to leave it on the side. Then, I started to play with color, size and ad placement. I now make more than $3,000/month with it…
If I can find something that pays $15 to $30cpm, I would replace it right away since I would more than double my income ;-). However, it's hard to find!
