I have some need of some techie help.  I converted to self-hosted in August.  All went smoothly, except that I'm noticing that all of my posts that were previously live on my old blog are not showing up with the search terms they used to on the big G.  Some of these had really great ranking and affiliate links that made some good income this time of year.  I did a 301 redirect.  I converted all the posts on the old blog to draft.  I don't know what else to do to fix it!

 

Any advice would be much appreciated.

When you moved, did your URL change? If so, that is just part of moving your site. It takes time to make that back up, which is why it is best to get on a permanent URL (your own .com) as soon as possible. If that is the change you made, it will take time, but you'll easily surpass whatever you had before.
