Help Pay it Forward on Facebook and Twitter | Bloggers Lair | Yakezie Forums

Hi Everyone

I am sure some of you are already doing this but I thought it would be great to follow each other on facebook and twitter. I know many of us are on twitter with each other but I think facebook has been a bit neglected. I was also thinking of signing up for each person's RSS feeds. That way you support each fellow Yakezie member 3 ways: facebook, twitter, and RSS. Today, I have signed up these three ways for everyone in the network that I know about. What do you think? Can you pay it forward too?

I try to follow everyone on Twitter and I have subscribed to quite a few feeds.

Glad to hear some of you are already doing this. That's great. I just figured there were some that weren't and it was an idea to throw out there. Plus for the newbies to the network it would be a great way to get them started. 

I know that those who have completed the challenge are listed on the Yakezie network tab. Do any of you know where we can find a list of the challengers so we can pay it forward with them too?

Miss T, I suppose that you are right, as long as the intentions are to grow along with each other.  I see one problem with this, however.  The network as it stands is open to anyone who is up for the challenge.  Right now, we are up to 237 members.  This number is managable, but what happens when we get to 1000? I'll be honest and say that I wouldn't want 1000 emails everyday because I subscribed to 1000 RSS feeds.  But Twitter and Facebook? No problem–for me anyway. 

So, I suggest that we make the numbers more managable by rewarding those who have actually met the challenge and members who are actually active in the forums.  Specifically, this one. For example, because you and a few other have posted your info, I will definitely "follow" and "like" you.

In fact, this forum can be a conduit for challengers like us to list our info to make it easy to follow and like as Betty did, or simply visit the page of the member, to at least give them some page hit love and possibly feedback, and then subscribe from there.

Great idea. Whenever a new challenger introduces themselves in the forums, I follow them on Twitter and subscribe to their RSS feed. There was a thread here a while ago where everyone posted their Facebook pages (can't remember where at the moment), and I "liked" everyone's page there. As you said, if we can all do that it would be great!

I agree with Romeo as well – I am really behind on my RSS feed (I have well over 2,500 unread posts), so this may become unmanageable really soon. I do my reading in waves, so you may see me comment and promote 5 of your articles in one day, but none for 2 weeks. However, you can always send me a Direct Message on twitter if you want me to read and promote something immediately.

@ Romeo, I just got an error from Twitter stating that http://twitter.com/wepreventwealth.com doesn't exist (that is the link in your forum profile).

I bet it had something to do with the .com that I ended my twitter name with.
