Help Troubleshooting Pageranking of 0

Hi.

I was just wondering if anyone knows where I should start with troubleshooting why my page rank is still showing 0.

My blog is over 6 months old

My Alexa rank is under 100,000

My Moz rank is ~4

and I have over 4700 backlinks to my site.

My search engine % is pretty low, about 5% so maybe that's contributing.

Any advice on where I should look first or if I should just spend a little money having someone take a look at my site.

I'd like to know the answer to this too as my pr has not budged from 0 despite having a moz of 4 and an alexa of 116,465.

Don just told me that page rank only updates/refreshes 1-2 times a year on an unknown schedule, so perhaps it's just that we haven't hit a refresh yet. How old is your blog. I started mine in mid july last year.

No one knows exactly what influences page rank, but it's not just the number of links, but links from high quality sites with much higher pageranks than your own.  This is why guest posts can come in handy, especially if you the host is ranked much higher than you are.

Also, I hear that the age of your site also is factored in.  So, the older your domain is, the more trustworthy the search engines assume that you are and the higher rank you will attain.

I'm digging my way out of some serious debt at
