Because of an advertiser named Micaela, I started fretting about the number of links on my homepage.

I have since decided my blog pals are more important, and the blog roll is heading back to the homepage!

Just thought I would share in my homepage liberation..

She seems nice, but she had me cut down below 500, then below 350, and then she wanted below 250! At that point I would have had to start removing my top commentators and other widgets like that, so I said no thanks… and maybe now I'll put the tags and categories back now that it didn't work out with her.

Great, Kris! Don't go making wholesale changes to your site because of one advertiser!

I agree. One person shouldn't have control over your blog design.

Nice work!  An advertiser recently wanted me to get my number of external links to down below 5…I don't think that is even possible….On top of that, I think building a community with my fellow bloggers is more important anyway!
