Just wanted to let folks know that our house flooded in the recent rain in So. Cal, we lost our computers and laptop. Our house needs construction, we will be living in a temp housing (still looking) for 6 months. We have to check with insurance, buy new stuff (after we get a proper place to stay, right now staying in a hotel) and it will take a while for us to settle down. I have been corresponding with a few people from Yakezie and stop replying suddenly. Just wanted to let them know am sorry about that. I thought this will be over in a couple of days but its been more than a week and nothing has worked out. So I won't be active in the forums/blogs/email till this settles. If you emailed me for something, I will def. reply as soon as I get a computer and an internet (sorry!).

Hopefully people will still remember my blog when I come back.

Thanks.

I hope you get it all sorted.  Insurance can be a pain…oh how quickly they take money, and how slow they are to give it back.  Best of luck on that front.

Let's see the forest for the trees though, once you get over this blip in your life, at least you'll have an experience (or ten!) for some always blog posts. Okay, maybe that's a little hard to see now, but at least you're safe, and it'll only be a matter of time before everything works out.  Hang in there!

Sooo sorry to hear about this Suba! Did you have flood insurance? I know that regular home owner's insurance doesn't cover flooding.
