I hate those pop up boxes with a passion so that's why I haven't put one on yet.  I guess I'll try the WP Greetbox and see if it really works. Opt-in Skin looks good too, but I'm too cheap to pay $50. Is it worth it?  I don't have Aweber and will go check them out now.   I got on Yahoo! Finance via US news syndication like Jeff.  Thanks for the suggestions.
Very worth it.  I also like how you can combine the opt in with the sharing buttons and make it all in one!
I'm going to absolutely agree with Robert on this one. I was hesitant to spend the $47, but after looking into it and seeing the value in it, I went ahead and did it. It is easily customizable, and is seriously a quality product with a whole lot to offer.

I've noticed that a large chunk of my Yahoo Finance traffic heads right to my About Author page. You should think about updating your page, especially with a visible RSS feed link.
This is quality advice. When I look at a new blog I always go to the "About" page. I want to see if there's something there for me, if I can relate to the author, etc. It's where I make the decision to follow or not to follow.   Congrats on the post, btw.

My article is on the front page of Yahoo! Finance since yesterday, 7 ways to prepare for retirement in your 20s. Traffic has been pretty awesome and I wonder how I can keep some of that traffic spike.  I added a subscription option at the end of the post that Yahoo! points to and hopefully will get some new subscribers, but I would love to hear any tips.  post – Retirement advice for young folks. What's your best tips on how to keep those random traffic?  Is there a way to tell which posts the subscribers are coming from? I'm on Google Analytic, but not a power user.
Congrats for getting on Yahoo! I use subscribers magnet here is a link
