I've used Fiverr for tech support – $5 can save me hours of headaches – and I see that there are all sorts of other things I can use site to do. Who here has used Fiverr? What worked well and what didn't?

I love Fiverr! I use it almost monthly. I've hired all sorts of gigs, but mostly quick graphic design projects – like buttons and such.

I've used it for infographics, ebook covers, etc. I see a lot of gigs for twitter followers and the like but I wouldn't risk it. Granted it's only $5 but I think that you get the followers, leave a positive review and then the followers slowly leave again after time. I'd be interested to hear from others on their experience with fiverr for twitter followers, facebook likes and the like.

I'm all about Fiverr! I've used it for everything from those hand drawn animations to cartoon logos to a rap song for the podcast. While they always do what I want, I have to remember that I only spent $5 and I totally got my money's worth. The rap song was hilariously awful….exactly what I'd expected.

I love fiverr
I've used it for little graphics jobs like banners – I'm useless at that sort of thing, and it would take me ages and lots of swearing to do it myself
Just not worth the blood pressure
Fiverr every time 
PS will everyone please like my facebook page – I'm feeling very unliked/unloved

Good to know – I need some logos, so that's a great idea. It turns out that they are running a special this weekend – 7 services for $30 – so now I'm trying to think of 7 projects.

I don't buy that often on Fiverr, but I am a Level II seller there with my eBook services.

I've had mixed luck with Fiverr. Definitely pay attention to the user ratings and remember, you're only paying $5!

User ratings are very important, and also check out how long they have been around for. I have tried a few newbies who deleted their profile after a month or two. I use it mainly for graphic design, server migration, and the occasional blog post.

I love fiverr. I've thrown out a few gigs, but for $5, no big deal. They've done a decent job editing videos, 3 d book covers etc.

Fiverr is excellent, but as other people have stated, always remember that you are only paying $5 so don't expect anything of excellent quality.
I would also stay away from anything SEO based.
