Here is some light reading for you all.  Some of you are aware of the major changes that happened in my life this summer.  For those who don't, the very quick summery is that a beloved cousin became ill this summer and died soon after.  As a result, my life has changed.  If you are interested in some light reading that will probably make you smile, gasp, or faint from disbelieve, read on: How I Became The Crazy Cat Lady

I will have a bunch of pet-related posts coming up at The Single Saver and now you will know why.

I am also going to have a 'saving money on pet-related expenses' themed round-up at some point later this Fall, so feel free to send me any links you'd like included.

Wow, what a story. I think you admirable with what you are doing. I know your cousin would be so relieved. Plus the animals are lucky you are around so they don't end up in a bad situation. I am really looking forward to the series about pets.

You are inspiration to us all about how to fulfill our responsibilities in the best way possible- with a smile and positive outlook.

Awe, thanks Miss T.  I have to admit that the last few months have been harder on me emotionally than I cared to admit at the time.  Between this and dealing with one or two "bullies" recently, I think I was just about spent.  Writing out that story for the world to see was actually a good healing step for me… and a sign that I am now moving forward with a normal life again.  And now I have a new challenge to amuse me which is finding new ways to save money on my critter expenses!  I love challenges such as this!  As for the extra responsibility I have taken on, I haven't regretted my decision for one second.  But it does help that love cats and dogs.  If my cousin was a snake rescuer I am not sure if I could have made the same decision – they scare me!  LOL!

Thanks, moneybeagle.  That kind heart does get me into trouble now and then, though!  I am glad at least my Yakezie friends don't all think I am crazy.  Hehehe.

You have a great outlook Denise. I hope you keep it. Best of luck.
