Only one blog, MoneyMamba. I own a few static sites, but they don't require any time.
As far as I'm concerned, it would be really, really hard to scale a blog network whereas maintaining quality with a static site is far easier. However, blogs have a branding/marketing/monetization power that extends beyond the metrics.
I'm hoping to develop two new content sites this year, but I've been saying that for awhile. Time is limited!

I've thought of second one, but I have just one for now. I'm having fun with Squirrelers:)
The key is time management, at least for me, with multiple sites. That would be essential to successfully managing multiples. Clearly, if people do it right, it can be done very well….see TFB for an example of that.

I've got 2 main personal finance sites that I update daily, and that I actually make money from. Then I have a fitness site, my logo design site, a social media/twitter site that I'm considering selling, and a blogging site. So what is that – 6 sites? Then I've also got several sites that I'm hosting and managing for a few clients/family members – but those don't require a lot of regular work.
I honestly think it's a bit of an addiction – the drive to create new sites and grow/build them into something that can create income, and build a following. I know I'm constantly getting the urge to try something new and create… I find it helps to grow a site to a certain point, and then bring on help to keep it growing and staying fresh.

Let's see I have 3:
yesiamcheap.com (updated 4 times per week)
mytenantfromhell.com (updated 1 time per week)
+1 one niche site I don't want to mention (done, static, just building backlinks)
Add to that a site that I built/ghostwrite/webmaster for someone else. I'm hoping to pass that off to him at the end of the month. He's already averaging 750 visitors a day and it's only been up for about a month. He should hit 30K-50K visitors per month which will be great money for him.
And I just registered the domain plus a variation for another site. So I guess that's 4.

Ummm.. I post to 6 of them regularly. I post to my main blog just about everyday. I post to two through six only two to three times a week on average. The seventh one I just started last a month ago and the last one I have had two years. I just keep it because somehow it got PR.

I have Wealth informatics, a technology/science blog (my day job related), a health problem related blog, a niche blog and now Broke Professionals. I also started to work on a vegetarian cooking blog, but the flooding and stuff put that in the back burner. So that would make it 6?
Before the flooding, I used to post 3 times a week on WI. The tech/sci blog I post almost everyday, but very quick half hr – 1hr post, mostly during lunch time. The health problem blog, I have been posting once a week. Niche blog, not much work at all. Cooking blog, I plan to update once a week, that should be easy because it will be the stuff we try during the weekend.
For now, BP, I am planning to post 1-2 times a week along with BP. So for now, I am concentrating on WI & BP. For those each post usually takes 6-8 hrs for each post (yes, I am a slow writer), then SEO, searching for pic, etc… so I think I am done. No more blogs, will be happy to grow the ones I already have.

I have three blogs that I somewhat actively update plus three sites that are mostly neglected. If I weren't lazy I should be able to keep the blogs and sites updated plus launch a couple more.

Hey Eliza!
Okay, so I've been following your blog (first one) for a month or more now…and I didn't know you had published books! You might want to think about that in order to promote them more on your other website.
Also, Barb Friedberg is looking to publish a book through a publisher very soon and had asked if I knew of any…do you have any relationships with a publisher you could email to her? (Just throwing it out there).

I have Bucksome Boomer and co-own Two Savvy Sisters (deal/coupon site) with my sister. I'll be starting a third one soon but it will be family recipes so won't take much time and plan to post only once a week.

Wow! I didn't know everyone had so many blogs! I'm working on a second but I'm thinking of building it as a static niche site with some basic how-to type articles. I don't think I would have time for more. Maybe when I hire a second me.

I've just got the one. I am amazed at you guys ability to juggle more than one.
I might could do more, but my patients probably don't want me posting during Pap smears…

Thanks, Amanda. I'll get in touch with Barb, but I don't think I'll be much help. I've had four books published, but they're all about food and home design. I'm not familiar with the financial publishing industry at all!
Thanks to everyone for your very informative answers to this question. After hearing from so many of you who are successfully managing multiple blogs, I'm newly motivated to be a productive polyblogger!

It would be better than the gyno I heard that would practice his ventriloquist routine…

I run Studenomics.com all of the time. I also work on passiveincomenow.net whenever I can. PIN got a link from Trent at TSD last week and the traffic was huge!

I have a personal travel blog and I have Invest It Wisely. I'd like to create a niche site at some point but I want to have a good niche, first… don't just want to do what other people are already doing.
