How Much Do You Want To Sell My eBook on Your Blog?

Hello everyone!

As you may know already, I'm currently working on my second eBook:

The Rat Race: 1 Year From Now, Will You Still Be A Rat?

This will be the first book of a series of 4 on escaping the 9 to 5 rat race. I'm talking about my own experience and how I have gotten out of the rat race at the age of 29.

I will talk about a specific stage in life:

People who are stuck in the rat race (my first book)

People in the Rat Race Deluxe

The Smart Rats

The Rat Kings

Each book will be around 75 to 100 pages along with tools and worksheets.

I am also planning to offer my book through an affiliate program and giving an additional commission to the Yakezie Members. Those books have nothing to do with my blog (no copy/paste BS) and will be full of high quality advices (if you have read Dividend Investing, my first free eBook, you will have an idea of the quality of work I'm putting into it). It will definitely be a great way for you to increase your online income.

So I would like to have your feedback on this:

How Much Do You Want To Sell My eBook on Your Blog?

answers can be in % or in $ ;-)

cheers,

Mike.

Because I know your book will be high-quality. I think you should put a price of $19.99 on it, then give 50% to those that are selling it on their site.

My audience is probably a little less likely to spend much on an eBook, so if you plan to do a tiered package I would take 25% of sales.

I would be willing to advertise your book, especially the one on the rat race. FSYA idea of a tiered package is a good idea.

I'm not sure i'd pay $20 for 75-100 pages.  TFBs stuff is very good but i'm not convinced the eBook market is that strong.  But what do I know …

Ebooks are growing, especially if they are not called ebooks.  Reports, manuals, courses, special reports, etc.  They sell better.   And, price it with a 7 at the end.  :)  $17, 27, 47.

The market for ebooks is there, and growing.

that's interesting how you price it according to the number of pages. I never thought that volume would matter for the price of the book ;-)

I'm actually planning to sell it at $27 with additional rebates if you buy the first book.

there will be other packages available with consulting and more freebies included once the 4 books are written ;-D

I've heard about putting a 7 at the end of the price before…I wonder what's the deal with that!

I would probably expect the first book to be a little less – just so you can establish yourself as a "voice to be heard" in this subject (especially with people who aren't familiar with your sites or dividend book).

I will help you sell your new book, but really don't have a feel for pricing or commission rates at this time.

My intended audience (not really the one I am hitting right now) should be pretty much out of the rat race – but might get it for someone in their family.  My real audience would be candidates.
