Congrats BP! We are sad to see you go, but I'm glad you'll be sticking around in the forums and such. Thanks for making us all aware of your decisions. It's always nice to know when these things happen. :)

Sad to see you go BP!  I've been reading your blog almost since inception (not the movie, silly!), but I'm also glad it is in good hands!

Congrats Suba!  I too though it was TFB, would've never guess it was Suba!  What have you unleashed TFB?!!  ;)

Wow lot of anticipation to see the new "owner". That would be me folks.

Though I didn't think of me as a new owner, more like a partnership. Funny how it turned out. I sent him an entirely different proposal and ended up here. I was not remotely planning on buying any blogs Wink (TFB & BFS have no competition from me). I wanted to start another one myself where my husband and I could write together, with a more personal touch than Wealth Informatics. I know I can't add a full time blog without ignoring WI and my other blogs, so a partnership was perfect. We are broke professionals ourselves (my husband and I). I hope this will be a good deal for all the "broke professionals" (the 4 of us) and more than anything, the readers. We look forward to bring in our own finance/professional struggles as immigrants to this country.

But I will need your continued support to make this a success. I hope I will get the same love and support as BP got. And I promise I will work for it!

Suba, you're a mogul!Surprised  You already have the same love and support.

I don't know about the mogul part, but I like the sound of it. Thanks for the support.

Awesome people. Awesome fit.

We're on board – just let us know if you'd like to collaborate someday.  Our plan was to do so with Mr. & Mrs. BP someday – the husband/wife thing and such.

SPF. I would love to collaborate with you and Mrs.SPF. As a vegetarian couple we can provide some green cheap/healthy eating type ideas too. As soon as this is settled a bit, I will contact you. May be I could try to collaborate with some other husband/wife Yakezies (if there are any) as well. I will shoot you an email. Thanks a lot for the support.

@Suba – sounds like a natural fit.  We're not exactly "broke" but i'm sure we can come up with some ideas for your site too.

BP has the potential to be developed into a major brand with care since there are TONS of us out there.  The name and URL alone is worth it.  I wish nothing but success for Suba and the BP gang.  G'luck.

If anyone wants to buy Yes, I Am Cheap I'm not selling but my eyes are open to the right price.  Everyone has a number, right?

I'm digging my way out of some serious debt at

I have to admit I would have put money on the buyer being Crystal.  Luckily, I am not a gambler so as I would have lost big on this one.  Congrats to Suba… can't wait to see how you continue to evolve Broke Professionals!

I probably need a new moniquor (sp?) but I thought you would all find it interesting to know that I received several substantial offers from yakezie bloggers you may not expect to be in the market to buy another blog.  I think it may be attributable to the "TFB effect".
