I don't know if you guys knew but I've been relatively unemployed since I graduated. (I don't count sandwich delivery and personal assistant work.) But I'm happy to say that I recently got a full time job!
I'm very excited and I'm getting my schedule adjusted to keep up with the additional work. I still plan to keep up the blog once I check the compliance requirements. (They do institutional investment management.)
I wanted to ask you guys how do you fit in time with the blog, commenting, Yakezie forums and posts, and general site administration while holding a full time job?
One thing I plan to do is scale back my posting. I've been posting everyday and only recently cut out Sundays. Now I plan to post only MWF with a weekend recap on Saturdays. (This week is already scheduled so it would start next week.) http://www.fsyaonline.com/abou…..ngschedule
Also what would be your suggestions if I wouldn't be able to "officially" run the blog because of compliance? Should I go anonymous or start all over? (I wouldn't mind, I actually have already purchased a domain name.)
Any tips?

Congratulations!
Here's a brief recap of my schedule:
I do the bulk of my writing in the evenings.
I do Yakezie and visit other blogs during lunch, and whenever else I can sneak a moment or two during the day, and in the evenings.
I participate in any link ups first thing in the morning.
I am working on an eBook (separate from my blog) and I work on that in the early evenings as I have time.
As for running an anonymous blog if there are compliance issues with your current blog, I would advice against it. If you were found out you could lose your job. Not a good situation! Perhaps if you had someone else manage it so that everything was in their name, and then you actually did the writing, it would be okay. But the last thing you want is your employer noticing activity going to XYZ.com, checking on the domain registration, and seeing it is registered to you. Hopefully it will be a moot point and you will be allowed to keep the current blog going.

Congrats on the job!
I do all of my writing in the evening and on the weekends. As for fitting in the blog, commenting, forum posts, etc.. I try to do that during lunch or if I have some downtime.
You will definitely need to cut back from posting everyday to 3 or so days a week. I am trying to post twice between Monday thru Friday, a roundup on Saturday, and then my week in review post on Sunday. It has been pretty manageable for me so far.

Congrats on the job! Smart move scaling back. You don't need to get overwhelmed, especially with a new job. Exciting. I write on the evenings and post MWF. Read and comment on my bus ride and squeeze some in during lunch if possible. I believe bloggers are jugglers, too.

Congratulations on the job! As far as fitting in the blog – I don't do a good job of it. I basically use my lunch hour, evenings, and Saturdays for all of my writing and tweaking the website.

Congrats on the job! I struggle with juggling job & blog too. Take it slow and don't hesitate to take breaks if you become overwhelmed. That is the beauty of the blogging world, you can take a break and pick it up. Good Luck!

Congratulations! Everyone gave you great advice already. I normally post 3-4 times a week. Monday is a regular day for me but I just wanted to relax with my family Sunday so no post. Just don't stress about it.

Congrats!! Don't risk losing your job over a blog. But otherwise, I would think you could write 3 articles on the weekend and schedule them to post during the week. Then use nights to keep tabs on the blogging scene. It seems totally doable.
Good luck and Congrats again!

Thanks for all of the advice. I guess I will get some posts together on the weekends and then visit and comment at night. I still want to be active but I'm curious to see how I will manage.
Thanks for the congrats! :)

Cognrats!
You mentioned compliance? Is this a job in finance? Are you going to be an RIA/Financial planner/RR/insurance ? If so, you may have to shut down since you aren't anonymous.

Woohoo! Great accomplishment in a down economy.
Keep a notepad and pen with you at all times as you never know when inspiration will strike (and it's nice to have ideas for what to write about before sitting down to write). I do most of my writing on the weekends and occasionally on week nights. To be honest, I work from Monday through Thursday at my job, and then Friday through Sunday is my other job!

Well done on the job, and best wishes for your career.
No set schedule on the blog postings, except that I do try to have at least 3 per week.

Congratulations!!!!! How exciting!
I work a full time job, starting a part time job tomorrow, and I commute 10 hours a week. I don't dare shoot for daily posting; I try to get several posts drafted on the weekends and finish them in the evenings, then schedule them to post in the mornings. It's a little sad to see my traffic dip when I haven't posted, but you've been around long enough that it won't be a problem for you.

It's in finance but I'm not handling any sort of client accounts or investments. But I once had an internship that was very strict because I was in the research department and I knew what they were considering investing in. I'll find out tomorrow when I meet with compliance what the rules will be.
