Hi everybody!
I have volunteered to run the blog site for my husband's non-profit Houston Curling Club, but it is broken somehow. Here's the URL: http://www.houstoncurling.com/
About 75% of the time, if you click on a tab at the top of the homepage, it redirects you to a weird feed page. The other 25%, it takes you to the actual information it should. I have no idea what is going on…
Any ideas? Please email me at budgetingfunstuff *at* gmail *dot* com if you need more info to help. Blogcrafted isn't available until Monday and that's when the club's summer league starts…

Works 100% fine in Chrome.
W3C says its only one thing away from 100% valid code: http://validator.w3.org/check?…..ator%2F1.2
I'd go through and try to validate all the HTML errors you can. Usually, that will fix 99% of the problems that don't seem to have an obvious solution.

What's a html error? I know, I am extremely stupid when it comes to anything other than the front-end part of blogging…
Thanks for letting me know that it is working in Chrome!

An HTML error may be any error in the code. For example: you might have an img tag (<img>) that is missing the last > so it throws up an error.
If you go to http://validator.w3.org and type in the address it will scan your code for errors. It's saying that site is fine, actually. Are you still having problems with it?

Whoa, that's really weird. I just pulled it up in IE and it was doing the RSS thing. That makes no sense whatsoever.

For the time being could you like… put a list of all the pages people need to go to on the homepage, so that they can still get to them?
IE threw up a "compatibility mode" thing that apparently says it doesn't like the way this site is coded. Before the warning, I was clicking around in IE just fine. Now, it's doing the RSS thing.
As a temporary emergency measure, I'd just link everything from the homepage with basic text links. I'm thinking that IE doesn't like the link attributes that are in the code. If you just <a href=http://www.page.com/safs>text here</a> all of them on the homepage, at least people would be able to get to the pages they need until a code monkey can fix this thing.

I can't find any cache programs. I also don't seem to have enough access to upgrade any plugins. I can deactivate them though. They only have 6 active plugins though and they all seem necessary thanks to the custom theme. It's still giving me that weird feed now when I click on tabs that worked fine for me 10 minutes ago…it just switches back and forth with working and not working…

I just tried linking directly to "About Us" from the homepage, but when I clicked on the link, it redirected me to that weird feed thing anyway! Grrrr…
I guess I'll just wait for blogcrafted, pay them if they can fix it, and write it off as a donation…

None of the tabs are working for me right now and when they do, if I just click "About Us" without selecting anything in the dropdown list, I always get the feed redirected page.

And yes, for some reason, it works perfectly in Google Chrome, just not when I use Internet Explorer…

The main page works find for me in Firefox for Mac. But the links on the menu bar take me to the weird feed. Is it possible the site has been hit by a virus?

Anything's possible…I just took it over last week, so I have no idea what's wrong…

When I tried it, I got the weird text, then hit refresh and the page loaded. Odd.
It almost seems like the host is rendering the site correctly.

I want to learn curling so bad! I know it is not related to your website, but it is an awesome sport.
