Hi All!
I was wondering what theme you all use for your sites. I have started a third site and it is completely different than anything I've done thus far. To keep up with that, I'm thinking about using a new theme (I currently use Weaver pro) but I'm not sure what to use. I have one particular theme installed but it's not customizable enough for me. I'm not opposed to paying for a theme so whatever you use, paid or not, please share.

Ahh Nick you made the jump…hows it feeling so far.
Ha! Si. My high school Spanish teacher would be rolling in her grave if she saw how sad my spanish is (she would also need to be dead… so I guess she'd just be rolling in her bed?).
I'm loving it. It's kind of funny – I spent a little while just clicking around on the site and reading some old posts – as if someone else had written them. It still doesn't seem like "my" blog. It's really clean looking.
I'm still waiting for comments to migrate (apparently they took the local train…) and I think my RSS just hit back earlier today. But I'm really liking the look and working w/in wordpress. Now I just need to learn what the heck I'm doing…

google is your friend…..hmmm i want a widget at the bottom to show my categories…would you look at that google found that for me…id offer help but i am about as useful teaching that as I would be teaching spanish…i forgot all my spanish after taking it for 5 yrs in high school…

Yeah, I think I'll be doing a lot of searching google and asking some blogger friends here or by e-mail (I have no problem seeing something cool on a blog and shooting over a "contact me" question. Usually bloggers are pretty helpful w/ stuff like that.

My concern with Thesis is that there seems to be a lot of coding you need to do. Coding is not my forte (read: I'm am terrible, horrible, no good, very bad at it). Is this a warranted concern or is it not as bad as I think it is?

Jana – there is quite a bit of coding but if you have a general idea what you want to do you can just google it then copy and paste the code…i found it extremely helpful google….i didnt really do any major coding other than copy and paste and change a website address or twitter to mine…. I have never done coding but managed to squeek by using google. You can look at my site and be the judge of my coding skills…now now now be easy on me….

Jana, for the Dividend Ninja I basically did a complete redo of a theme I liked the basic look of.  The big boys use Thesis for their blogs. I used Theme-Junkie for the redesign of youngandthrifty.ca, and was very pleased with the platfrom. I will probably use Theme-Junkie for other sites I build as well. Far cheaper than Thesis…

Thanks for the additional input. I'm not so much worried about cost as I am royally screwing up and not being able to fix it. But I suppose there is always Google for that…
