Okay kids, it's time for a fun meme. One of the most popular posts on my site is my April Fools joke called "I Won the Lottery" http://yesiamcheap.com/2011/03…..lottery. Since I already have a plan for what I would do if I actually won the lottery, I wondered what everyone would do. But then I thought, what if it wasn't the lottery. What if you just inherited a million dollars?
Anyone up for this challenge? Just write your post on what you would do if you suddenly inherited a million dollars from long lost cousin Bertha that you haven't seen since you were a baby. I loved it when a bunch of us were inspired to write the "growing up poor" stories and this might be fun.
What do you do? Well, write your post and have it go live on MONDAY JULY 11. Send me an HTML formatted synopsis of it for a million dollar roundup to be published on Sunday, JULY 17. Your synopsis should be exactly as you want it to show up. Example below. Oh and of course, you link back to the roundup which will be at yesiamcheap.com/2011/07/if-financial-bloggers-had-a-million-dollars. :) Have fun guys.
Not only does Sandy from Yes I Am Cheap plan on <a href="LINK HERE" alt="swimming in million" target="_blank">swimming in her million dollars</a> like Scrooge McDuck, she also wants to prove that money does grow up trees by planting it.

I think this is an awesome idea and I would love to participate but I just dont' have the time to write another post this week. I have work deadlines and am headed out of town to my sister in laws wedding. I could only manage a blurb on what I would do. I hope you have great success and a good turn out.

I'm finding this post really tough to write! Is anyone else finding this? It's funny that you can spend time wishing you had more money but by the way this is going I think I'd be too overwhelmed!
