Hello Yakezie community!  I just wanted to let everyone know the great news that I'm now a writer for ChristianPF.  I'll be honest, it was one of the most exciting times to get an email from Bob asking me to write for his blog, I was thrilled!  Hope everyone can swing by his site to check out my articles.  I have one up right now, it's called "Work is good, God says so."  Tweet it if you have some extra time thanks!

Do any of you write for other big blogs?  This seems like a lucrative way to make some extra monthly on a consistent basis.

Congrats!

It must be quite an honour to be asked by a PF heavy weight to write for their site.

We've been asked twice if we're interested in staff positions.  Our current writing schedule – 7 tips and 3 longer posts – every week has us stretched too thin to be a staffer.  It is hard enough to get the odd guest post written …

Congrats!

I am a weekly staff writer for Sweating the Big Stuff, Stupid Cents, Passive Family Income, and Money in the 20's.  I am a biweekly staff writer for Wealth Pilgrim and I'm starting at one more in 2 weeks.  :-)  It's a nice side income, but I don't think I charge enough for it to make me enough to live on unless I get 15 more spots, lol.  It's a great way to get your name out there and get to know great bloggers though!

Again, congrats!

Wow look at you guys go!  I guess I have question for you then.  I was approached by Bob to write for his blog.  Were you approached for those writing positions or did you contact them over email and offer your services?

If I can staff write for 5 blogs and keep up my own content I think I'd be sitting pretty.  Plus the link juice is awesome!

Congrats Jon! That's awesome! I've read ChristianPF quite often since I started blogging.

I currently staff write for Passive Family Income, Bucksome Boomer, and Prairie Eco Thrifter. It's fun to staff write, plus you get some extra link love! :) Good luck on your new writing position.

My Dollar Plan announced that they were holding a contest to find a new staff writer. So I submitted a post and won! I believe I started there in the summer of 2009.

A question for everyone…what's a common price to charge per article when you are a staff writer?

Congrats on your new gig!

I just recently became a staff writer for the Prairie EcoThrifter (my first post there is up today – check it out if you have time!  http://prairieecothrifter.com/…..rugal.html ).  I am loving it because it allows me to write slightly different kinds of content than I would for 'The Single Saver' without having the stress of maintaining an additional site.

Yes, like everyone said, congrats. We are all very happy for you. I am sure this is not the last job you will be offered if you keep up the great article writing. I will definitely have to check out your posts.

That's nice to hear. I have heard that from a couple other of my staff writers. They like being able to write about something different. I really enjoying reading all of your different perspectives.

I was approached by 3 and contacted 2 directly when they announced openings.

That is great news, Christian PF is a great site!

I currently write for Bible Money Matters, Redeeming Riches, and Not Made Of Money. I used to write for Money Help For Christians as well.

It is tough trying to write for all of these sites and manage two of my own as well. So far, I'm not really doing a good job of that!
