Congrats! What a great post!  So many seem to think that it's impossible to go to college without loans.

My oldest just started college this year. She's a great student and got scholarships to cover most of her tuition. We're paying the balance of tuition, room and board and books from cashflow. She works summers and breaks to cover her clothes and spending money.

Good job Cyrstal.   Your article was pretty well received by the commenters.  Seemed mosts people applauded your work ethic.   Its quite common for the guest reader stories on GRS to get some pretty heavy negative reactions in the comments.  Thats why JD has that warning to tell commenters to be nice.   SO you did quite well compared to most.
