Thank you everybody for the kind words!

Yes, this does make my 6th staff writing position and I now run the advertising for 17 other blogs as well.  And thanks to all of your support and my general stubborness, I will be able to work full time from home after September though I will be pushing myself to stay until January.

I don't find the time – I create checklists, fit in most of my writing on the weekends, and sleep less.  Wink

The most personally organized blogger i've met.   Reason enough to hire her!

Others have VAs but we've brought on board a staff writer who personally cares about her product, who cares about the relationships she has with people, with the quality of her produced content and her devotion to ultimate professionalism.

We're truly honored that Crystal intuitively understood our need, and plead for help and asked us if we'd like her on board.  We're honored she did so and sooooooooooo happy she's on board! Yay!

To be absolutely honest, while it is great to have Crystal on board providing Grade A content, the relationship is beneficial to us as well.  Crystal links back to the sites she works for which means some good link love for us, and, her readers may wander over to Sustainable Personal Finance and check out Crystal's post – and perhaps some of our articles too.

I was reading in another thread about keeping things personal (e.g. Crystal doesn't have staff writers!).

Mrs. SPF had a MAJOR concern on this front.  She loves that we post as a couple and that our readers have caught onto our site expecting as much.  That being said, we were swamped with posting 7 tips and 3 full (1000+ word articles) every week.  I was getting burnt out as I do everything else blog related + writing (carnival submitting, guest posting, dealing w/ advertisers (which can take hours and hours!), commenting on other site, SEO, image selection, editor role and much much more.  With my 40 hr work week it felt like I have added at least another 30-40 hrs.).  Having Crystal on board means I have a bit more time to get a guest post written here or there, or even take a night off one of these months!

While our personal brand will change, we feel we are improving by adding Crystal to our team.  As I mentioned in a previous post, she's an uber blogger and I don't see how our site will "hurt" by having her post a juicy great article every 2 weeks (and for the record, he of 15,000 RSS subscribers, Frugal Trader @ Million Dollar Journey – a mentor of mine, read Crystal's first post on gardening and linked to it today, sending 100 people to our site – and I didn't even mention it to him – he just liked the article!).

Kudos Crystal – and thank you.

Whatever it is, you're amazing, and you deserve to ditch that job of yours. I can't imagine how awesome you're going to be when you have 8 extra hours a day to create revenue! Great job Crystal!

I know I say this all of the time, but thank you so much.  All of the words of support are what keep me going on 18 hour days!!!  Thank you.  Really.

Thank you.  I am creative in spurts, so I am just glad that most of the bloggers I staff write for at least point me in the right direction each week!
