Hey Yakezie,
I'm looking to expose my blog to new audiences and write content for other bloggers. I'm fairly well-versed in the mechanics of investing, and can cover topics including:
- Retirement planning and strategy
- Some tax issues involving investments and retirement accounts
- Selecting mutual funds and exchange-traded funds
- Asset allocation and diversification
Topics outside the realm of investing – budgeting, couponing, and insurance, for example – are beyond my capacity. Investing related articles can be written to fit a particular view on investing – I won't take an activist view on a passive investing blog. *I don't know anything about Canadian investments, markets, or tax laws and retirement issues.*
Primarily, my goal is to reach new readers by posting routinely on a few other, well-trafficked blogs. Ideally, I'm looking to do as many as one post per week on as many as four different blogs.
I am most interested in:
- The ability to link to my blog 1-2 times in each post.
- Writing for blogs that have an audience and feedburner subscribers.
- Writing 1 post per week for your blog.
- Writing for someone who can provide topics/key ideas they want to have covered on their site.
That is to say that a $50/post opportunity from a new blog – though a very good rate – is not as attractive as a $15/post opportunity from an established and well-trafficked blog. I''m not entirely in tune with the current staff posting going rate. As an aside, I am most interested in opportunities spanning 3-4 months.
If you have any interest in well-written and researched investing material for your site or sites, do please contact me. The quickest way to reach me would be by email. The MoneyMamba contact form is a piece of cake:

P.S. I'm operating as an LLC in the United States, so there won't be any complications at tax-time for W9s, etc.
