I'm a bit of a tech moron – is this one of those scraper sites? It picked up my post but only has the first few lines and then links to my blog. Any thoughts or advice?

Looks like a scraper site to me. Not a single original post, no contact info… They just want you to approve the trackback because that's their spammy backlinking strategy.

I would just disable trackbacks entirely. They are a very bad user experience, anyway. All they do is clutter the page and are a magnet for spammers.

If you have to ask if it's legit, it's probably not. Like ads on TV that seem too good to be true, they probably are too good to be true. :-)
Do trackbacks help at all with SEO?
