I just checked my Google Analytic and I see that 20-30% of my traffic is from mobile devices.
This mean I need to optimize my site for mobile devices, but I have no idea how to go about doing this.
There seems to be quite a few plugins to do this. Anyone has a recommendation?
What are you using on your blog?

Joe – I just checked out your site on my iPhone, and it actually re-sizes pretty nice. However, if you want to get a mobile theme, I recommend WP-Touch. It's a plugin you install, and it generates a mobile theme for visitors. Very easy to use.

I know Martin at Studenomics uses WPTouch. It does seem very nice.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

I use WP Touch Pro and really like it for the most part. You can create custom icons to allow mobile users to bookmark your site on their home screens (kind of like a web app) and they can still comment on your site from their phones.

I use WPTouch as well. It's super easy and works great.

Thanks everyone. I'll install WP-Touch tonight.
I was trying go back to 2 columns last night and I had a ton of trouble.
Less columns is better for mobile viewing.

Agreed. WP-Touch is probably the best, easiest, most popular, etc.

As an end user on an iPhone, I hate WPTouch. It never, ever remembers that I do not want to see the mobile version, despite supposedly having the ability to turn that off. So each time I want to look at a site with that installed, I have to go to the page, scroll to the bottom, turn it off, refresh, and then see what I want to see. That said, I know people who view web sites on Android phones seem to love it.
The new default theme for WordPress (2012) is supposed to be a responsive theme, which is something I'll be checking out.

I believe that was the mobile app that I was using, but I got several emails from other bloggers saying all they could access was the mobile version (even on their computers). I don't know why or if there was an easy way to fix it, so I just disabled it. It's probably something I should revisit… :)

Graphene for mobile. Check out my site on a mobile device and see if you like. I personally think the design is way better than WP-touch.
