Hi,
I just sent you an email about this, but in case it doesn't get through I'll let you know here too.
I received permission to publish your work by email. I hope that you have just forgotten about this. I included a link back to you on every post.
Best,
Mike
Mike, as far as I can tell, your site is little more than 1800 posts of other peoples content surrounded by Adsense links.

Yes, it does have adsense. However, as I said before, I did get permission to use the posts. Of course, if he wants them removed I will take them off the site no questions asked.

Mike here is in fact correct. The site has changed so much since I last saw it that I completely did not recognize it at all. Mike, I replied to your email and would like an explanation as to why you made the changes that you did. I granted permission for the original site, not the site as it currently exists.
Thanks,

Mike has agreed to remove my posts so I am glad that he is working to straighten things out. Maybe this was just a misunderstanding, maybe not, but Mike I hope you will let people know ahead of time the next time around.

Mike, Did you know that it is a violation of T&C of adsense to have it on posts that you didn't really write. The content is someone else's (Invest it wisely or anyone else for that matter, even if you give credit to them). I have been hurting because of this. My content was used by a newspaper and they had adsense. Just because it was a newspaper, google thought I copied the content and sent me the dreaded – "you have 3 working days to remove autogenerated and non original content". No one in that newspaper is replying to me and I have appealed to google for them disabling my adsense account. If you intention is only to bring all the good stuff to people, you should not have adsense. For everyone else who is giving permission, just keep in mind if the other site has adsense you might have to battle with google to prove that you are the original content and they have the autogenerated pages. Just my 2c.

Suba,
Which newspaper is this? If they are willfully committing plagiarism and not responding to your emails, blog about them – I'm sure we all can get behind you to at least get an apology from the paper.

Hey Suba, if you write a post about this, I'd be willing to promote it, and even write a summary of it on both my sites! I don't care how big they are, they can't just do that!

It was some county newspaper in TX. They have removed adsense from that page but have not replied to me. I have rewritten my post a bit and have appealed to google. But from what I hear, the appeal is just a wash and no one ever got their adsense back after appeal. So I am not keeping my hopes up. Feel like crying esp. as I have quite a bit of money for April in adsense and that might all go. I don't know if the amount of money that caused google to audit my site or what. I never had an auto generated pages. But I cannot keep thinking about this, have to move on. May be I will do better without adsense… Thanks for the support guys. Every time I try to write about it I end up tearing up. I know it is stupid, but I think it will take some time for me to be "mature" about this.

I feel your pain Suba! AdSense banned me last year….tried appealing twice…no luck. I've thought about writing a post as well, but I don't usually post relating to my blogging.
The next best thing is AdBrite. Disable adult ads and monitor it, and it will at least get you some money generating while you are fighting AdSense.

I can't believe the cloned site is still posted! Grrr… And they are dumb enough to leave the Blogger toolbar enabled so you can "report abuse" too… I tried to report it but basically it looks like the original owner (you) needs to do it.

I'm currently going through a DMCA process with Blogger so hopefully I will be cloned no more, soon enough! :)

Two of my posts were stolen by the same blog. They only have 3 posts up and two are mine! I left a comment that they should remove the post but what else can I do?
I am seriously pissed. How do I report a DMCA complaint? There is no contact form to report the blog.

Don't worry. Being cloned simply means that people care about your site enough to steal your content.

This is perfect.
@Tony, I definitely do care. If they provided a link back and just an excerpt I would be flattered but to scrape the entire post and remove all links goes beyond flattery, that's straight out theft.
I also just implemented a copyright with myfreecopyright.com. They include a copyright notice at the bottom of each feed post and give it a time stamp and unique ID.
I installed (C)Feed and Blog Protector which notifies me of scraped content and eliminates the ability to copy and paste from the site. I don't know if blog protector does that for the feed though.
