I've been having a great time exploring your blogs for Build Your Blog Month, and working through 31 Days to Building a Better Blog. I'm here to see how you're doing and find out your results so far!

- I've been liking on Facebook, adding on Twitter, subscribing to, and leaving comments on Yakezie blogs. I've gotten through almost 40 of the blogs so far. There are 125 blogs on my list of members and challengers and I should reach all of them by the end of the month.

- I'm also working on a Google Doc of all current members and challengers, which will be posted and stickied here on Blogger's Lair so everyone always has the most accurate, updated list.

- I'm working my way through 31 DBBB and have been happy to see you guys joining me!

- I've hosted the Yakezie carnival and two guest posts (including the swap) from Yakezie bloggers. I've also written two guest posts and have two more lined up.

- I've included lots of links to your blogs, using Suba from Wealth Informatics' Yakezie search. Love it!

- A round up goes up tomorrow morning.

I'm excited to see improvements on my own blog. My Alexa rating has dropped from 90k to 80k. My RSS subscriptions are up 10%. My page views are up 53% over the same first ten days last month. Great results!!

I'm still looking for one more guest post for later in the month. Anyone interested?

What have you done for BYBMonth?  Are you seeing the results on your blog yet?

So far I've been making an effort to comment on at least 10 Yakezie blogs each day.

I've participated in the Yakezie blog swap that Robert hosted.

I've tried to post or repost a new article each day.

I gave away 3 ad blocks to fellow Yakezie challengers.

Whew! I'm exhausted! I'd like to get around to all of the blogs also. Still working on it :)

I've overextended myself with freelancing work, but I have been able to do a few things:

- I have visited all the Yakezie challenger and member sites to give everyone an Alexa hit from me.

- I have been commenting on at least 4 other blogs every week day.

- I have written to a reader every week day.

- I have been trying to keep up with the 31 days to build a better blog.  I have done all of them and have added my comment to most of them.

- I have continued posting daily.

- I have continued having my weekly roundups and am trying to include a few new-to-me sites every week.

Thanks for starting this Penny!

This has been very inspirational so far as I'm trying to ease into some of the activities and really get my exposure out there.  I'm making an effort to comment more on blogs, participate in carnivals, get in front of posting (5-6 times per week), with one of those being a round-up post that features both Yakezie and non-Yakezie blogs.  I'm really hoping that my participation gets noticed and that my ranking improves.

Thanks to all of you!

I've also tried to get ahead on my blog and have been trying to learn more about the structural and design changes I can do to make my blog more useful as a resource and more useful to my (still few) readers in general.
