June is the official Yakezie Build Your Blog Month! I just made it up, but I hope you'll participate in the festivities!

Yakezie Build Your Blog Month is all about doing what Yakezie does best: build relationships between bloggers to build up the best blogs we each can create. I'll be focusing on building YOUR blog, which will in turn build mine. Consider the impact if each of us for the month of June commented and promoted just 3 Yakezie member or challenger posts per day! 

Here's how I will celebrating Yakezie Build Your Blog Month:

1. I will comment thoughtfully and promote on social media at least 3 Yakezie member and challenger posts per day. I use Facebook and Twitter and would like suggestions of other social media that will be best for promoting you guys.

2. I will be working my way through 31 Days to Build a Better Blog, start to finish, here on Blogger's Lair. I hope to have company!

3. I will write four guest posts and host four guest posts – contact me if you want one to be on your site or if you want one on The Saved Quarter! They do not have to be swaps, and I'm open to challengers or members.

4. I will participate in the Yakezie Blog Swap (public section) and Yakezie Makes You Money link swap (private section).

5. I will promote your e-Book or other offerings. Contact me about your affiliate programs and I'll get them up on my site.

6. I will post a Yakezie post round up each Saturday.

7. I will participate in and promote the Yakezie carnival and BITFS's Totally Money Carnival. Are there other Yakezie-centered carnivals?

8. I will update my BlogRoll to include all current members and challengers. I know mine is out of date; is there a list floating around of everyone who is currently participating?

9. I will increase my posting schedule to 5 times per week to give more content for you guys to promote. I'm already building a stash of posts that should be easy to relate to and share.

10. I will promote the heck out of anyone participating in my Saved Quarter Challenge, and ask for new people to join in the weekly link-up to promote the steps you're taking to meet your financial goals, whatever those goals are.

I realize that it's only mid-May, but I wanted to give you guys a chance to come up with more ideas for the Yakezie Build Your Blog Month, and give you time to prepare for the onslaught of promotion coming your way! haha! Do you have suggestions for promoting one another that I have missed? 

Let's work together to create awesome content and make June our best month ever! How will you be participating?

This sounds terrific!  I am not 100% sure I will be able to keep up, but I would love to try.

If you are a Yakezie member or challenger and do not see yourself on that list, please let me know.  It is only updated with additions upon request and I go through to remove non-participants about once a month.  :-)

Hey, guys, I'm so glad that you guys will be joining me! Do you have more ideas for promoting one another that I missed?

I thought of one more:  each of us participating picks one Yakezie blog to feature and write a post about them, linking to a few favorite posts from that blog.

You can join the Yakezie Facebook Team. I've already joined but will be sure I've "liked" everyone in the group.

There used to be a plugin that posted 4-5 random Yakezie member posts, and I'd put that up on my blog again if the participants list was updated. Anyone remember who made it to ask for an update?

I'm in. Bring it on. I'll be throwing as much energy as I can into promoting the Yakezie Network. Love it.

Me too!  There are a lot of ideas here and I will do my best to keep up.

I'd especially love to get some guest posts for the first week of June for FamilyMoneyValues.

Here's what I can commit to (and I will try to fit in as much else as possible that Penny mentioned):

1.  I will be working my way through 31 Days to Build a Better Blog with Penny here.

2.  I will comment thoughtfully on at least 3 Yakezie member and challenger posts per weekday.

3.  I will host at least four guest posts.  Feel free to submit them at budgetingfunstuff *at* gmail *dot* com

4.  I will update my BlogRoll to include all current members and challengers.  Please email me if you aren't on it.  :-)

I will also try to bump up my social media promotion of others, but I didn't want to commit to that unless I was 100% sure I could get to it.
