It took me a total of 19 months to break 100k in traffic. Something that I'm proud and worked hard for.
Thank you to all of you who've been part of the journey so far.
Even though my Alexa is slightly down (mostly since most of my traffic is from Google), it's something else that I want to work on. Any suggestions? Tips? Thoughts?
How long did it take you to reach 100k visitors?
Here's to another 100k!
Cheers!

I was at 105K on around May 5th, just three months after joining Yakezie. But since then, I have seen my blog Alexa rank slipping away to 150K now. Surprisingly, my traffic has continuously grown to over 11K pageviews now per month. So, my guess is that I am not attracting as many viewers with the Alexa bar.

The whole Alexa thing is relative – it only calculates (I think) those who have the bar installed. Sounds like you're in the same boat as me and that the majority of your current traffic is from Google and less from other bloggers (or those) without the Alexa bar.

All time? I never even thought to look at that. Edward Antrobus and it's previous iteration as Entry Level Dilemma has had just under 4k visits since first installing Google Analytics on it back in November.

I'm looking for editors, beta-readers, and some demographic research for my upcoming novel, Once Upon a Saturn Moon. If you like reading soft sci-fi thrillers, maybe with a touch of romance thrown in, you can find more information at http://seampublishing.com/once…..aturn-moon

Well done! I'm heading toward the 10K goal myself. 100K is in a galaxy far, far away from where I'm standing! That makes you like the Millenium Falcon…or something

@jai
Yes, it's all about the bar…haha….so true!
@ jake
That's good progression Jay. When I started, I never thought about reaching 100k. But one thing leads to another, few features in the media, networking, and guest posts gives you the boosts. Oh, can't forget SEO either, yet I haven't relied on it as much.

Congratulations!
I actually got down to around 43k before my ranking took off in the wrong direction. Now it is way over 100k and climbing…I just haven't had as much time to blog as I did in the past.

Good job! that's a great accomplishment. I've been hovering in the 140s for some time, and I have a feeling I may not go a lot lower…
