Hi all! I'm new here, joined yesterday in fact, and I can already tell this is one mighty supportive community, glad to officially be a challenger.
I have a quick Alexa question. My blog is brand new, and it was (obviously) showing no data for Alexa in the toolbar I installed. So I headed over to Alexa just now, made a free profile, uploaded the file to my site so Alexa could verify, that went fine… It still shows no rank, and I'm not expecting to rank now of course, but is there anything else I must do for Alexa to start reporting for my site?

Hi, and welcome to Yakezie. No, there is nothing you need to do for Alexa to rank you. It's probably that their bots haven't found you yet. Just sit tight and wait! Yes it is a very suportative community here – I love it! I'm off now to take a look at your blog!

I started this challenge with a brand new site too. You will go two days or so before you get a rank, and then it will likely be around 15 million give or take. But the power of the Yakezie begins and that will drop exponentially. Good luck

Welcome to the challenge! I joined the challenge on 2/15 and have been grateful for all of the support that the people here provide.
It is truly a great group and very supportive! I'd encourage you to browse this forum a bit to get a grasp on what will help you the most as you get started on this journey. Really it comes down to writing great content, visiting blogs, building relationships, and enjoying the fun that comes with all of that.
