OK everyone.  I'm new here.  And I'm launching a new website on pensions and retirement

I'm really not sure how to get started.  I've been lurking here for quite a while and read back through as many topics as I could, and I hope I'm following the "best practices" as far as I understand them.

Anyway I'd appreciate any feedback that you have or ways to improve what you see.

Thanks a bunch!  Hopefully I can offer help to you too (however limited that may be at this point!)

Hi all,

I obviously haven't gotten much feedback, but I recently updated my header logo a bit.  Additionally I've got quick cache installed so things should be a bit quicker.

Any thoughts on the images I use in the site?  Do they look professional?

Finally, I'm thinking of adding information on the pensions offered by each US state and most of the European countries, do you think that would be helpful for folks?

Thanks,

The reason you didn't get a response is that it isn't a personal blog based on someone's personal finances and that is the focus here more or less.  It is a niche site or authority site and to be frank no one gives a shit about it here lol.  You have 3 posts and 2 of them are asking for advice about your own site.

Likely a waste of your time to post here…

Just some thoughts

I appreciate the feedback.  I didn't realize that this was a closed personal finance club and no one asked for help on their own site.  Nice pregnancy blog by the way.

I think your website definitely needs more content. Focus on building a solid foundation of 20-50 high-quality articles with useful information. I don't think more focused finance websites, such as yours, are prohibited from joining the Yakezie challenge.

Not at all a closed group just gave you my opinion as to why despite 40 or 50 views on your post you got no feedback.  A lot of people ask for feedback and you'll notice that convos sometimes go for pages and pages of great comments back and forth…you didn't get that and I gave you a reason for it lol.

Interestingly, instead of actually trying to be a productive member of the forum (i.e. get some more posts in on other people's questions) you decided to make a snide remark on a site of mine.  Not very constructive use of your time imho.

Good luck
