Anyone thing the below is legit? They ask for a TON of our metrics (monthly views, uniques, facebook URL, # likes, twitter name, # followers and more
But the only mandatory fields are first/last name, blog title, blog URL, email (which they have).
Thoughts?

Hi Sustainable,
Technorati Media is running a philanthropic campaign for a worldwide
automobile manufacturer and would like to invite you and your blog,
Sustainable Personal Finance, to potentially participate in a Paid Post for
the campaign.
The campaign's objective is to promote awareness and voting in a
contest that will ultimately award 100 non-profit organizations with a
new car enabling them to increase their ability to do good in their
local community. You'll be asked to write about your favorite
non-profit, reference and link to the contest, and promote your post
through your social media networks.
This is a great opportunity to spread goodwill and get paid for it!
The first step is to "opt in" by submitting the form at the link
below by Wednesday, May 4, at 5:00pm PST.
http://bit.ly/eUXLK2
We will then submit your blog information to the client for review
and consideration for the campaign. If selected, we will contact you,
gauge your interest and share more about compensation, the campaign
and deliverables.
We also have additional, upcoming campaigns and will consider you for
those as well.
Thanks for your participation!

Sounds sketch. My rule of thumb when I get offers like this is if I have any type of doubt or hesitation, I delete the email. I would not give our personal website stats to anyone unless they were a legitimate source. Just be careful, don't want to see a fellow Yakezie taken down by a scammer!

I found an email contact @ Technorati a high level editor. Fired him an email after making this post. Within 10 mins he responded but didn't have the answer. He CC'd the appropriate person and within 20 mins or so it was confirmed to be legit. Pretty cool IMO.

Personally, I think it could be another opportunity to recover some of our costs. We'll see how they evaluate us.

I responded right away, but I am confused why people care about giving out your metrics? Whether you have 3,000 views a month or 30,000 views its not like it is your social security number.

I was concerned it may just be advertisers phishing.

Some of us probably don't have the juicy stats you might have! ;)
e.g. Those w/ no PR or low subscribers may want to keep that info quiet. I know I was advised to keep our total RSS reader widget off of our site until we got back 60 or 100 total. Now that had to deal with herd mentality to get people to subscribe … still.
Sorry, no advertiser phishing for our metrics, as far as I know.

Hi all. I know for a fact that this is legitimate. I can not say how, but I can 100% vouch for the legitimacy of this campaign. I was hoping that many of you would take advantage. You will be happy later. :)

When I googled the topic and sender it mentioned NOT involving "A Listers". Perhaps the top 50 types are consider "A List".
It is legit folks - I emailed them directly @ the technorati site and confirmed.
